The Community Awareness of Roadway Safety (CARS) Group is the longest standing MDST in Iowa. The group is able to bring the 4 E’s of traffic safety (Engineering, Enforcement, Education, and Emergency Services) together in one room to continuously improve safety in Scott County and the Quad City Metro Area. Currently, the CARS group, is engaged in staying on top of traffic safety issues around the construction of a new I-74 Mississippi River Bridge.
